Went for a quick lunch with the family. The food arrived really quick. (Never a long wait) server was very friendly. The inside looked really cool. My son who loves trains enjoyed seeing all the train decor inside. Would definitely recommend this location. Even looked like they had outdoor seating to enjoy food on a nice day.
Stopped by Skyline and went all in—4 cheese coneys and a side of fries. No regrets. The coneys were exactly what I needed: soft buns, snappy hot dogs, that signature chili, mustard, onions, and a ridiculous amount of shredded cheese. Messy? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. Each bite was a perfect mix of savory, cheesy goodness. The fries were solid too—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Definitely recommend. Service was fast and friendly, and the whole vibe was chill, just like you'd hope for when you're about to crush a comfort food feast. If you're craving something different, cheesy, and a little nostalgic, Skyline hits the spot.
My fiance and his mom took me here for my first Skyline experience, and it did not disappoint! They took me to this location in particular, since it had something like unique they had heard about: trains racing on tracks on the ceilings! It was super cool to witness them chugga-choo-chooing along, set to backdrops of mountains and countryside. It was so neat to watch while we ate! Our waitress was also super kind and funny! She warmly welcomed me to my first Skyline experience and made sure our service was prompt, kind and attentive. I got two classic Cheese Dogs with some fries and a drink, which also came with a packet of oyster crackers. The cheese dogs were hot, delicious, and the cheese started to melt perfectly. My fiance got his own helping of cheese dogs, and his mom got their chilli. I loved the food and my experience here! My only regret was not trying one of their chilli dogs; I will make sure come back and do so!
I live in Lafayette, IN where we don't have a local Skyline. I lived in the Cincinnati area 17 years, and Skyline cheese coneys became one of my favorite treats, so I never miss an opportunity to visit a Skyline location when travelling with my family. We stopped at this location near Kings Island a week ago while taking our grandkids to Great Wolf Lodge. Always delicious food, consistent quality, and priced well. The nice thing about this location is the train theme it has. Love seeing all the old photos, and the G-scale trains. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience, as usual!
We always eat at Skyline Chili when we come to Ohio. The three way chili with cheese is our favorite dish. A second best is the chili coneys. This location in Mason next to Kings Island is convenient to the park and is well maintained with good quality service.
This Skyline's atmosphere is unique. The historic area photos and model train operating around the ceiling makes it special. The overall restaurant is huge and you'll find plenty of space to eat. This is one of the favorite stops going to or leaving Kings Island.
My son says... perfect and don’t change anything We had great service, sat down quick and enjoyed it. Being from Arizona, we don’t have anything like this so we enjoyed it quite a bit. The food was good and well priced. We basically ordered one of everything.
